LOS ANGELES - (March 9, 2007) – Vivid Entertainment has decided to move-ahead with distribution of “Kim Kardashian Superstar,” the sex video she made with her “co-star,” indie hip hop recording artist Ray J. Steven Hirsch, co-chairman of Vivid, the world’s leading adult film studio, said he decided to ship the DVD to retailers across the country and it will be in stores by Wednesday, March 21st.

“I met with Kim on Wednesday and unfortunately, we didn’t even come close to reaching an agreement. We will now immediately move forward with the release. We still remain open to any further discussion with Kim as we would like her to benefit from sales of the DVD,” said Mr. Hirsch. .

On February 26th Mr. Hirsch had announced that he would temporarily halt distribution of the DVD after Ms. Kardashian’s attorneys filed a lawsuit against the company on February 21st. At the time, Mr. Hirsch said he would try to set up a meeting with Ms. Kardashian but he also said he was confident that Vivid had a legal right to distribute the DVD of the video.

Vivid paid an unidentified third party $1 million for the
now-famous video, which was made three years ago when Ms. Kardashian was
dating Ray J. It features well-produced scenes of explicit sex with the
two young and glamorous high profile celebrities. The sexy Ms.
Kardashian, who counts Paris Hilton as her best friend, is the
daughter of O.J. Simpson lawyer Robert Kardashian.
Her mother is married to Olympic Gold Medalist Bruce Jenner.
